Best Friend Time

I am grateful that this year I got to actually see my best friend Terri more than once on her trip home :) We actually hung out 3 times!!! It was really nice.

Shopping

I am grateful that I went shopping with Andrea today an got to be part of her wedding prep! We found exactly what she was looking for!!!

Wanna build a snowman?

I am grateful that I got to build a snowman with my mom and Daniella! 

Relaxing Day

I am grateful for the surprising day of doing nothing alongside my brother and future sister in law. They 'stopped' in for 5 mins, which turned into all day and dinner. It was really nice to not really do anything but chat and relax.

Also grateful that my other brother and his girlfriend have helped me make progress in turning his old bedroom into a guest room!

Family

I am so grateful for my family!

Christmas!

I am so grateful for all of the amazing people that I have in my life; friends and family a like! Thank you for being in my life and Merry Christmas!!!

Sun & Snow

I am grateful for the gorgeous day I have woken up to! The sun is shining and the snow is glistening!

Great music

I am grateful that there are so many talented musicians and singers out there that perform and share their gift with the world! It's lovely to enjoy such wonderful music, especially this time of year.

Baking complete

I am grateful for the time spent baking Christmas cookies with my mom over the last two days... even if we argued a little bit... I love listening to Christmas carols and baking our favourite holiday treats together.

Christmas Movies

I am grateful for all the super cheesy made for TV Christmas movies that are playing right now. Love curling up on the couch with a hot chocolate and watching :)

Connection

I am grateful that I got to catch up with Scott and Terri today! And I really enjoyed my peppermint hot chocolate!

Scarf

I am super grateful that I got to have brunch with Amanda and Shea! I got an awesome scarf and mug from them respectively! Love them!

 

Cards

I am grateful that I have finished all my Christmas cards! They are made, written and ready to be mailed or handed out!

Frozen

I am grateful for the time spent with my best friend Geny at yoga and the movies today. Went to see Frozen, the newest Disney animation and it was awesome.

Safe arrival

I postponed my trip home last night because of the snow storm and uncertainty about the road conditions. I am very grateful that I did and that I had such a smooth ride home this morning. I got to the a stunning sunrise and enjoy an easy drive, just me and my thoughts.

Complete

I am grateful that our wedding crafts are complete!

Productivity

I am grateful that I got to Kingston early, we managed to design Tina and Tyler's wedding invitations- now we just need to actually get them created on a computer and then printed- and we got a bunch of painting done. I feel like we were pretty productive today and I am grateful for that.

Sunshine

Today I am grateful for the sun that shone brightly during our trip to Moose Creek to pick up dresses! May have been cold but it was certainly sunny which makes the cold a little more bearable. 

Up early

Today I am grateful that I could not sleep and actually took people's advice; I woke up and began to write... What I am most grateful for is having the first version of my reading for Chris and Daphne's wedding end up on paper!

Family love

I am grateful that I get to witness so many different forms of love all around me... like this adorable display:

Hair Cut

I am grateful for waking up early, even if I REALLY didn't want to, and going to get my hair cut and blow dried because it looks and feels wonderful! I am a big fan of my new hairdresser!

Home

I am grateful to be flying home today. It may be crazy early and I may be exhausted beyond sanity but I am going home!!!

LAST DAY!

Today is our last day at Never Work Again!!! I am grateful that I only have to get through today :)

Sad and Grateful

I have many mixed feelings at the moment. I am grieving for my cousins who were 17 weeks pregnant and their baby girl is now a beautiful spirit among us. When I heard the news I could not help but break down and cry. I cried for the loss of their girl, I cried for the loss of our whole family, I cried for the beauty of my cousins announcement and how much love was conveyed through it; I cried.

Today I think back to yesterday and I am still sad. I am however eternally grateful that I work with some of the most amazing people in the world and when they felt my sadness they took turns just hugging me. They did not say anything, they just held me and allowed me to cry. Thank you.

Writting

I am grateful for my writing. I use it to let go and communicate with the world.

Nelson Mandela

I am grateful for incredible people in this world like this man. This is what I just wrote on my Facebook status and felt it was appropriate as my gratitude post.

What amazes me constantly is how much of an impact some people have on the world. My Facebook feed is full of incredible love and respect for a remarkable man who has truly affected the world in a deep and intense way.Nelson Mandela with be greatly missed for his compassion, his respect, his integrity, his honour and just being one of the most respectable people in the world. Thank you for your heart and all that you gave to the world!

Sunshine

I am so grateful with the amazing sunshine today! Even better is that there's a window in my office where the sun is streaming in!!!

Life!

Today is the day that I celebrate my birth! I was born on this day 28 years ago today and I am incredibly grateful for life. I am grateful for the outpouring of love and best wishes that I have received today from friends and family all around the world, some who have known me for many years, some who have only known me for a short time and others who have literally just met me. I am so very fortunate to have such amazing people in my life. THANK YOU!!!

Cuteness

I am so grateful for my adorable family and how close we are. 

My mother, Jaime (my youngest brother's girlfriend) and I were out of town this weekend. My other brother was also out f town for work. 

Last night for dinner my dad, youngest brother and my other brother's fiancé went out to dinner, just cause! Super cute!!!

Holiday

I am grateful for wonderful holiday movies such as The Holiday, that make me smile, laugh and get into the holiday spirit!
