For the next 365 days I will be posting something that I am grateful for in my life. This is really a blog for myself, however if you happen to stumble across it and are inspired or empowered to be grateful for things in your life that's AWESOME!

Christmas Decorations
Today I am grateful for all our Christmas decorations! I love having them up- even if it's only in one room of the house, and even if I will only be around to enjoy them for 10 days :-) When I see them I smile! (May buy some more so I can decorate more rooms!)

Gift of Facilitation
I have 7 Sacred Gifts. I am grateful for each one of them and I am sure by the end of my 365 days I will have written a post for each. For today though I am saying thank you for my gift of facilitation. This gift allows me to hold space for people to really get in touch with who they are and what they stand for. It allows me to support their commitment to figuring it out. It allows me to listen to them without judgement and encouragement to move forward.
I have had the privilege of facilitating Unlock Your Heart Virtue session for three different people within the past two weeks and I am so very grateful! It makes my heart sing to witness the "light bulb" of realization and understanding go off when they suddenly see what their lives have been about and what they will continue to accomplish as they move forward!!!

Arms and Hands
Last week I had lunch with a friend who happened to have shattered his pinky knuckle on his right hand. This type of break is called a "boxers break" in the medical field. He did not punch a person but rather a door... ANYWAY while discussing his injury we got to talking about how challenging it is to do all the things you normally do with your right hand, with your left.
He challenged me the next time that I make toast to use only my left hand when I butter it. This morning I made toast. I did as he asked. I must admit that while I found it easier than I had anticipated it to be, I am very thankful that I have full use of my right arm/hand.
Today I am grateful for all the things my arms and hands allow me to accomplish :-) like buttering toast efficiently, and making Christmas gifts and playing patty cake and throwing a ball and balancing in yoga and the list goes on.

Creativity 2
Three cheers for creativity and romantic/cheesy!!! This is what I created for my brother and his fiancé. We used it to collect cards at their engagement brunch, and I had card stock and pens for people who didn't have a card.
The idea is that they can continue to put love notes to each other in the basket and when they need a little extra love they can pick up some notes and read them :)

Creativity
Thank you Universe for having blessed me with the ability to be creative and to have a vision for something I wish to create. AND thank you even more for having brought me to a mother who has the combination of creativity and LOGIC to actually make my vision happen! :-)

Friends
I am so grateful for the friends that I have. I have relationships with people where we may not see of speak for a few months and yet when we see each other it's as if no time has passed at all. They are beautiful people and it was wonderful to share a drink and many laughs with them tonight.

Office
I am so very thankful that I now have my own office/craft space. I have created a space for myself outside of my bedroom and all other previously designated rooms!

Security Cameras
I am grateful for the people who are in the video, for those that took the time to create this video and for those who then took the time to share it.
Security cameras all over the world catch more than we sometimes realize...

Welcome
Welcome to my 365 days of Gratitude blog!
Yesterday it occurred to me that I am grateful for so many things in my life. I could easily write this in a journal for my eyes only, however something compelled me to do in online in blog format. I believe this to be two fold;
1. I get to share what I am grateful for and perhaps empower others to think about what they are grateful for.
2. It's a way to keep myself accountable to posting everyday. I realize that no one is going to be patrolling my blog to make sure that I post everyday but I'll know if I did or not, and I will be accountable for that.
So day 1;
I am grateful to have to outlet for my gratitude!
